Small Bedroom Ideas
Sometimes depending on our living arrangements, we might have a smaller bedroom or two. While this can be considered a bit challenging, just because you have a smaller space, it doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style! Instead, make more shrewd furniture decisions to make the room “work harder” for you and your family!

Intelligent Storage via Bed Frames for Small Bedrooms
With so much choice in terms of “clever” storage in the form of an actual bed, you’re actually spoilt for choice! Our first top solution for this conundrum is the 4’6” Walkworth bed frame - not only do you have a stylish bed frame with exceptional headboard buttoning detail in the on-trend colour of slate, you also can store up to four times the amount of items that a regular divan bed could take! Option 2 - what is not to love about the Bibop bunk bed? This is a really popular choice because it combines storage, comfort and style very well. The Bibop comes in two colour options and has individual bookshelves for each level plus “hidden” storage behind the bunk steps. It’s a really clever space saver that the kids will adore!
Seating in a Small Bedroom - Be Clever!
Not all small bedrooms will have the space but if you do have some floor area to work with, you need to choose wisely. We like the Adam 3 drawer dressing table because its exposed legs won’t add bulkiness to the room; the 3 drawers will provide great storage options and the stool is easily stored away under the table. If a desk / dressing table like this isn’t an option due to floor area constraints, then you could add a modern, stylish chair like this Italian designed LED chair. The clear, transparent lines keep things minimalistic which is what you need in a small room but you’ll still have somewhere to sit and even to temporarily lay clothes.

Adaptability in Small Bedrooms
Bunk beds are a common choice as a solution to accommodating a couple of kids. We love the Elliot bunk beds because not only are they sleek, modern and high quality pine material (there is also a more traditional oak version), they are also wonderfully versatile in that they can also be split into separate beds should you move into a bigger home for example. A blanket box is a clever choice (space allowing) in a small bedroom because it can double up as a seat while obviously providing good storage if, for example the room simply doesn’t have space for a wardrobe.
Add Dimension to a Small Bedroom via Mirrored Furniture
Mirrored furniture is a fantastic choice for making a small bedroom appear larger. While this “Memo” mirrored wardrobe may seem large, remember that it is doubly functional because firstly you will have excellent storage space but also the floor to ceiling mirrored doors will add immense depth to the small bedroom. This piece comes in three different dimensions, two colour options and the doors slide open and closed meaning no space required for opening of doors to get at belongings.

Using Accessories in a Small Bedroom
Key to keeping a small bedroom looking its best is to ensure that it doesn’t become cluttered and that it’s clean and organised. Some accessories will of course be ok; cushions, throws and blankets on the bed don’t take up space but will add a wonderful sense of style and comfort to a room. Also, floor to ceiling mirrors will be functional but if you don’t have the floor area for one, adding a wall mirror (close to a window if possible in order to accentuate the light) will help add further depth to the room. We adore the simple sophistication of the Turin wall mirror.
